Neil Goslin

Biography

Neil Goslin was born in Boise Idaho in 1970 and grew up herding cows and daydreaming on the one hundred acre ranch that his family had in Horse Shoe Bend.
He spent countless hours as a young man writing terrible and mindless stories on his mothers typewriter and spent even more time writing his first novel. Which was truly awful.
While writing has become much more important to him, and now that he is a little better at it, he has very little time to do it.
He is learning to take the BICHOK approach. Which stands for Butt In Chair, Hands On Keyboard. While this approach is not always fun. It does appear to be more productive.
He is currently working on several new series called Saynak, Solace 7, Brennus and the next installment of Huskers.

He is also working on a full length novel series. The series is the Into the Shadow Realm series and the First book, The Evolution of Lee Carter will be available soon on Amazon and Smashwords.

He wishes all other writers the best of luck and enjoys being part of the writing community.

Smashwords Interview

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I ever wrote was when I was nine. It was called "Lien the Bugmaster". It was about a boy who could control insects and it was quite awful :)
What is your writing process?
I have learned to build my characters from real lifetime experiences and people. I then overlay a fantastical setting and try to focus on the human element.

In the year 4525 the planet Mars is alive and thriving. Then something staggering occurs. Scientists in outlying districts that are thought to have been dead, are alive again. Or so it was thought, in reality, they appeared to be more "undead", than alive. For outrider and gunslinger Derrick Ransom, his job to make the region safe has become an issue of what makes us human.
