This is a travel log by a gifted writer with a keen wit and a laugh out loud sense of humor. Think Mark Twain meets Bill Bryson. Parker's unpretentious approach to both the lighter and more sober realities of life in India from a western perspective make for a delightful and engaging read. I finished this book wanting Mr. Parker to travel more and write again. Ridiculous that this only costs $2.
