Biography
Sherri Stokes finds tremendous joy in exploring the natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies near her home in Calgary, Alberta. Whether in her meditation and personal development communities, the non-profit sector where she works, or through this - her first children’s book - she is passionately committed to encouraging conversations that connect us to our shared humanity.
The Adventure of Brothers C & P is inspired by Sherri’s courageous nephews who were diagnosed with varying degrees of cerebral palsy (CP) at an early age; their perseverance and determination to conquer obstacles every day motivated Come Play With Us. Sherri hopes that the thought provoking Adventures series will give parents and children an opportunity to talk about inclusion, pushing past our limits, dreaming big, and enjoying the journey!
