Joe Harwell

I grew up in Poteau, OK and now live in Tulsa. My diverse work history includes retail, coal mining, telecom, TV, newspaper and recycling before becoming an author. I married my high school sweetie Becky and have two sons, two daughters, five granddaughters and two grandsons. Becky died in November, 2008 after we spent 36 beautiful years together. In 2009 I wrote and published The Indian Rock Vampire, a very different Vampire novel based on the symbols on the Heavener Runestone in southeastern Oklahoma. In 2009 I published a followup novel called Upside Down Heart. In 2011 I released the futuristic thriller ONE DRUG and in 2012 I released Payne County Weekly, a historical fiction novel. My latest release Dragline came out in 2013.

I just finished reading this excellent novel. Although time travel has been written about in a thousand different ways, Sharon Ricklin Jones has put a refreshing new twist on it. Wrapping a powerful love story around one of the more traumatic events of this century, I was unexpectedly drawn in by River of Time and kept turning pages to the end. You won’t be disappointed by making this your next read.
