      I’ve been familiar with Jeff Clow’s outstanding photography through Flickr for many years now. Not only is Jeff a highly-skilled photographer, but he has a more elusive quality that shines through in image after image…what Jeff has is heart, and plenty of it. And now we discover that Jeff is not only a photographer of the highest caliber, he is also a terrific writer. In this book Jeff does indeed give away many secrets about how he achieved his outstanding results. Jeff’s jaw-dropping images speak for themselves but then he goes ahead and tells you exactly how he did it in clear, easy-to-follow and detailed steps. It’s like having your best friend take you on a personal tour, gleefully sharing insights and secrets it’s taken him years to learn…and your best friend just happens to be a professional photographer! I think a wide range of photographers would find this book invaluable. From the amateur on a family outing, to the professional photographer looking to add some classic landscape and captivating wildlife images to his or her portfolio…all would be more than pleased with this book. Even if you don’t plan on going to the Tetons, I’d still buy this book as I think it gives invaluable insight into many aspects of photography that anyone could learn from. And the photographs are just downright inspiring! Knowing Jeff’s kind and sharing nature through Flickr, I’m quite confident that Jeff has held nothing back in this handy guide. And by the way, maybe do yourself a favor and have a look through Jeff’s work on Flickr…if following Jeff’s advice in this book can result in photographs that are a fraction as good as his, I think it’s money very well-spent.

      I read this book in a day and was so excited by some of the information that I couldn't get to sleep. I now have an extensive "to-do" list that I'm eager to chip away at. Although I realize that the majority of authors aren't as successful as the ones interviewed, it's still very inspiring to hear their stories...and they didn't have this book to help them either. Invaluable information + free = irresistible! Thank you for your experience and advice, Mark Coker.
