Honduras is pure Ridgwell gold. It's got beaches, booze, a babe, a bad guy, and there sits Joe in the middle of the world that just won't stop spinning...but it's cool, because a guy like Joe just rolls with the punches. Like many of Ridgwell's good stories (of which there are many) and like the protagonists of his great books (of which there are a few) we can't help but just like a guy who sees the world through beery goggles. While he doesn't always come out on top, he always comes away a little bit wiser, a little bit more world savvy. True to form, this is the case in Honduras. It's not a long read, but it's a groovy swish-swash-swoop of a tale. Pick it up, you'll be glad.
