Patrick Ngugi
Biography
Patrick Michael Wainaina Ngugi was born at Muthurwa, Nairobi in the late 50s.
He became fascinated with the printed word while he was a still a little boy and sometimes he would struggle to make sense out of news reports he read from his father’s newspapers. He started writing fiction and poetry in high school at Allidina Visram High School.
Later on he would churn out captivating fiction for Taifa Leo’s Hadithi Fupi pages. A graduate of the London School of Journalism, Ngugi has worked for several media houses in Kenya and has published several novels. This is his first poetry anthology.
He is married with children and grandchildren.
