I loved this book. Based on a true story, the author did an amazing amount of research prior to writing the book. She interlaces the storyline with historical facts. Anyone, who's ancestors immigrated to America, can relate to this story. History buffs will love how the storyline is supported by historical facts of that time period and local businesses. It's a very touching, and informative novel.

This was a fun book....a very interesting and unique plot with twists and turns. The story flows easily, keeps the reader guessing and celebrates the underdog. I highly recommend it.

This book was a very creative story of life and afterlife. I enjoyed the author's perspective of the circle of life, and the descriptive way in which the story was told. I give it two thumbs up. :) P. Clark
