Pensee Rain

I am a biologist and writer interested in merging the natural world with literature. Routinely looking through a microscope's lens and living along California's coast gives me a perspective that I enjoy bringing to the page. My favorite part of the day is reading bedtime stories to my children. Our best-loved books include A wrinkle in Time, James and the Giant Peach, and The One and Only Ivan.
