Peter Anthony
Biography
Welcome to the Peter Anthony page! First off, I should mention, I love to write. More specifically, I love to write stories. Sometime in 2001 the urge to write began and has yet to cease. I recall the day's events. While out for a jog, the notion to write something came to me and I had to run home. Since then, periods of time have come and gone where I write more than others, but no matter what, the roots have grown deep, and it seems that writing will be my favorite hobby for many years.
My first novel, 'A Town Called Immaculate', was published in 2007 by Macmillan New Writing. Since then I've been at work on other novels and short stories. I have some exciting things in the works, all of which I hope to share through my website www.peteranthonybooks.com and through Amazon Author Central. For anyone interested in reviewing early works, or sending likes and dislikes, please contact me if you want to say anything other than spam ("Want to buy cheap Levitra?").
As for my life outside of writing, I am a father and husband - those are my highest priorities. I live in Minnesota. I've worked as a sports writer for All Headline News (which was really more like re-writing sports stories) and as a magazine contributor for AskMen.com. I prefer to spend my time writing fiction. As for other jobs I've held, I grew up on a farm and did various farm jobs. After that, I worked as a mechanic, a warehouse laborer, a system operator, a homeless shelter resident advocate, a software engineer, a systems analyst, and a support engineer.
