This is an exciting thriller that digs deep into human motivation. It goes into the minds of the central characters so that I could feel what they are feeling. I like the focus on women rather than absurdly cool men. Also the impact of criminality on families is well shown. The environmental/political issues around nuclear power might be important to the criminals but this writer is not into green propaganda -- he is out to entertain -- and he succeeds!
