This story was masterfully done! The characters and plot had me hooked, right up to the end. As someone with several tats, I also loved the way Cooley nailed the art of tattooing (especially the pain). I couldn't put this one down.

Paul Cooley has a real gift for characters. What makes this story so chilling is being able to see through the eyes of his character and really get a good look inside his head. Canvas is not a hack-em, slash-em Hollywood gorefest. It is infinitely scarier and far better.
