Philip Caraccioli
Biography
Philip Morgan Caraccioli is a native of Honduras who immigrated to the United States as a young man and now lives on a ranch in Alabama with his wife, Eloise Akins Caraccioli, with whom he raised five children. A United States Air Force veteran, Mr. Caraccioli earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama and retired from Marshall Space Flight Center after a 30-year career as an aerospace engineer. During this career, he played a role in the design and development of the giant Saturn V rocket that put American astronauts on the moon. He is an active member of an Independent Baptist King James Bible-only church, where he is occasionally asked to preach. Only A Dream is Mr. Caraccioli’s first published book.
Philip's grandfather, Peter Morgan, was a direct descendant of the Welsh buccaneer, Henry Morgan.
