Padmaja Khanna

Padmaja Khanna enjoys writing stories that not only entertain but can also prompt some reflection. Her debut series, The Dream Hiker trilogy, owes its inspiration to a combination of things—primarily, her fascination with science, her love of writing, and her underlying interest in philosophy. She is constantly filled with ideas for the next story she would like to tell.

Padmaja grew up in India, worked for a short period in Japan, started her family in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and now lives with her husband and two kids in the ever-expanding Chicago suburbs in Illinois. In addition to being a writer, she is a software professional and also works with teens at a local non-profit group. She loves learning about diverse cultures, visiting different parts of the world, and occasionally trying her hand at painting.
