Paul Middleton

Biography

Paul Middleton was born and raised in the "Heart of Texas"—Brady, Texas. After graduating from Brady High School, he attended Texas A&M University from 1988 until 1992 at which time he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry from 1992 until 1996 at which time he received a Doctorate of Optometry. Subsequently, he moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and he has now practiced optometry in the DFW area for nearly sixteen years.

Paul is married and has two daughters. He is active in his profession and in his church. He enjoys reading, writing, running, spending time with his family, and following Texas A&M athletics.

Paul gained a wealth of material about which to write during the four years that he spent at Texas A&M in the Corps of Cadets and the Texas Aggie Band. These experiences have been seasoned with the perspective that he has gained both through conversations that he has had with thousands of patients and through the life-changing process of raising two children.
