My name is Christine Kruger-Remus, and I'm an independent author who first began publishing about a year ago. Writing has long been a passion of mine, and now I'm sharing my work with others in the hopes of helping them. I have a Masters in Social Work, so most of my books are in the self-help genre. I'm in a helping profession, which likely is why I set out to write books to help people.
I live in Colorado, with my husband and six cats. We're an odd family perhaps, but I wouldn't know what to do without any of them. I'm employed at an agency that works with people who are low income and have severe disabilities as a case manager (plus I have three other jobs there!), so I'm a busy woman, but I always find time to spend with family, read, and of course write.

I thought that this book was very well-written and easy to follow. Everything was laid out in such a way that the beginning entrepreneur could understand it without having to go online every few paragraphs to figure out what the author was talking about, which is exactly how it should be since this book is designed for new entrepreneurs. I found a lot of useful information in here, from the background on money and businesses, to the practical applications that explain how to actually build your own business. However, I think that it’s a little misleading when the book says at the beginning that it will teach you how to start your own business while still in college. It’s true that you can use the techniques discussed to do so, but the book implies it will go into detail about how to use resources at colleges to help you. So I was a little disappointed with that. Otherwise, this is a great introduction to becoming an entrepreneur. It’s perfect if you’re just starting out and need to know how to go about doing so. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to begin their own business.

This is a great short story on, well, revenge and redemption, like the title says. It tells the story of three men who take revenge upon another man, each for different reasons. The author does an excellent job of getting inside the heads of the characters in the story so that you can understand, and even possibly sympathize, with the men who seek revenge. The detailed descriptions given of all characters in the book make it easy to actually FEEL their emotions as you read. This book does have some graphic content, so parents may want to read it before allowing a younger child to do so. However, even though it does have some graphic content, the whole book isn't filled with blood and gore (I can't stand those kinds of book). “Revenge and Redemption” is a must-read for those of you who enjoy thrillers like I do. I HIGHLY recommend this book. It's a great read.
