Sharyn Cunnington


Biography

Sharyn has written stories ever since she learnt how to hold a pencil, but only in recent years - after retiring from acting, creative writing, and dancing classes and performing, she found that she now has a lot of time on her hands to revisit her stories, and she has decided to finally share them with the world.

She is a 3rd generation intuitive who spent her early childhood years in a house full of animals (2 dogs, 3 cats, half a dozen fish, 20-odd budgies, doves, finches, and love birds, a galah and for a while even a sugar glider named Coco). She spent her time either helping to care for them or collecting rocks and feathers from the neighbourhood or digging in her parent's backyard looking for fossils. Her teen years were spent if not at school, in dance classes, competitions and tours both within Australia and briefly in the former Soviet Union, they were spent avidly reading or honing her natural abilities through tarot cards, dream interpretation, other symbology and crystals. Through her early adult years she started recognising and documenting paranormal phenomenon that was occurring in her life, including events such as clearly audible knocks through walls like someone knocking on a door, prophetic dreams where she has received messages from deceased loved ones or dreamt of events up to a year before they have occurred, coincidences and visitations from occasional spirits, all of which she keeps notes on in her many notebooks, and which provide some of the fuel for her stories.

Sharyn is currently drawn towards the discipline of Angel Therapy and the gentler, more meditative influences in our daily lives. It is her hope to be able to continue writing works influenced by her life experiences, and continue sharing them with the world!
