Biography

Joe Pringle is a writer of fiction novels and short stories. He's written several published books and is actively aiming at creating his next best work. He lives in the Cape Winelands, South Africa.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in eastern South Africa, in the heart of Zululand. A large part of South Africa is illiterate and it's inspired me not only to create relatable works but also to inspire others. I've been helping out kids developing their writing skills and assisting them in creating their own works.
When did you first start writing?
I can't even remember. I've dug out old scraps of paper from when I was very young where I'd written short stories in terrible grammar, but all I do know is that it's something that I've enjoyed doing most of my life.
