Rachel Gay is an Alabama native living in New York (the state, not the city), an avid reader, and a bit of a nerd who is fascinated by anything and everything. Her work includes Tanil and its sequels Correst and Rorin, as well as the web serial The Last Inn.
After two years, Aito must return to Tanil if she wants to help a friend and find her missing dad. But what starts out as a rescue mission becomes a flight across the country to save herself and her friends as old enemies return and even older memories begin to come to the surface – bringing with them something that refuses to stay forgotten.
Aito has been to another world, or so she says. No one believes her, but that problem can't compare to when she is pulled back there by an unknown abductor. This time, Aito won't be the only one going to Tanil.
Aito wasn't looking for much when she went into her dad's room that rainy Sunday afternoon. Just something, anything, that would ease the boredom. What she found was a whole new world and the realization that getting back home may be the least of her problems.
