Biography

I am a writer born on the Isle of Wight; a small island off the south cost of England (UK). I originally started writing poetry, but moved on to novels after I somehow seemed to lose the ability to write poetry. I love fantasy and science fiction but I am lover of all books fiction and non-fiction alike and try to read as much as I can as well as writing.

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I originally started writing on an old typewriter and had a habit of only writing bits of stories. The first story I remember completing was called 'Space 2000' and was about an accident in a space shuttle and a rescue of the crew. I was pretty young when I wrote the story.
What is your writing process?
My writing process is very organic. I tend to get ideas and write them all down and build on from there. I generally don't write a book in order. I may start at the beginning but then have a really good idea for a later chapter and start writing that, then go back and write a bit more of the beginning.
