    Wow, I purchased this e-book after reading The Magic Moon Cat and started to read it right away. It is just as good and I love how it flowed in with the first book. Now all I have to do is find the third book of the series. I sure hope I can find it! Loved it,loved them both? Sandy

    I finally got around to reading this wonderful story, having purchased it some time ago. I was delighted with the story line and to read of the struggles of the women during war time. They were a hardy lot! Very well written, kept my interest from start to finish.

    I was pleasantly surprised by this book. A wonderful story of a family's hardships, laughter and love while setting up a homestead. I found the family photos added so much to the appreciation of their story. Good on you for taking your father's words and running with them!
