Rayna Noire

Biography

Rayna Noire is an author and a historian. The desire to uncover the truth behind the original fear of witches led her to the surprising discovery that people believed in magick in some form up to 150 years ago. A world that believed the impossible could happen and often did must have been amazing. With this in mind, Ms. Noire taps into this dimension, shapes it into stories about Pagan families who really aren’t that different from most people. They do go on the occasional time travel adventures and magick happens.

Smashwords Interview

Describe your desk
My desk is rather like a movable feast. Sometimes it is in the car, other times on my bed, usually it is the small wooden picnic table I managed to pull indoors. I needed something moderately big for the laptop, printer and my reference books.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I am an Indiana farm girl. I could sit a pony about the same time I learned to walk. I have a great deal of respect for animals and nature in my tales.

  • Ordo Lupus II: The Devil's Own Dice (An Ex Secret Agent Paranormal Investigator Thriller) Volume 2 of the Ordo Lupus and the Blood Moon Prophecy Series on Nov. 08, 2014

Imagine if you can a Liam Neesom-type character on a mission to rescue his wife. Got the grim determined look, take no prisoners, never back down attitude in mind. A magickal element is part of the mix since a devious witch stole his wife. Then there are the machinations as elaborate and satisfying as any Dan Brown thriller. Add all that together and you have the second book of Ordo Lupus series, The Devil’s Own Dice. This richly satisfying tale spans the centuries, as one driven man is willingly to march into the unknown, train to be a knight to rescue his wife. The going isn’t easy with malicious serpents and the ongoing war between vampires and werewolves. The Devil’s Own Dice will please paranormal and medieval history fans both. There is an underlying erotic tension underneath the layered mysteries and symbolism. Kudos to author Lazlo Ferran for creating a story that is a rich mixture of time travel, history, horror, and love.
