Radona Hines

Realigion is a Houston native, hip hop creative writer and the author of four Houston based Novels. She has always been an excellent writer and story teller growing up. At the age of twelve she lost her parents to death and was raised in Acres Homes by her grandmother a very strong Christian women and aunt who played the role of her mother. During the grieving state writing became her escape. While attending Aldine Senior High she soon became bored with not being able to go anywhere but church and school due to her grandmother’s strict upbringing. Realigion ran away from home making the biggest mistake of her life. She was prey for the streets being introduced to everything it had to offer. By the age of twenty- one she’d become a career criminal with two children. Her freedom had become her downfall.
While serving a three year sentence in prison she utilized her God giving talent producing four novels. She saw her sentence as a shot at redemption. For the sake of her kids change was obligatory. She vowed that upon her release she’d walk the straight and narrow and try to reach teens by speaking threw her books. Her mission is to try and prevent them from making the same mistakes she did by running away to the streets. She hopes to encourage them to stay in school and get a higher education to truly live the good life.

Realigion is currently attending college, majoring in Professional Writing. She’s a full time mother of three beautiful girls and continue’s to write letting her imagination and true life experiences pour threw her pen. She loves attending church to hear the word of God. Being raised up in church, she has come to realize “Threw God all things are possible and unlike man, his love is everlasting.
