Biography
Rebecca De Medeiros- Born and raised as a California girl, now transplanted into Iowa's blustery winters, dreams longingly of sandy beaches and palm trees. That is, when she has the time to dream between controlling the chaos known only as the De Medeiros household and plotting her next crazy scheme.
Thankfully, she is married to the most supportive, loving husband. He even believes her when she promises to be both a best seller and the next week's lottery winner. With two young children, two hyper puppies and a household chock full of laundry to fold- a supportive husband comes in handy when she forgets to defrost something for dinner because she is wrapped up in her work. He is the true inspiration to her romantic soul.
Rebecca takes great pride in coming from a long line of strong, determined women. She credits (blames) them for encouraging her to pick up her first pen and writing down what was on her mind. Unfortunately her first artistic endeavor was "I will not hit my brother, even if he did call me Bucky Beaver" one hundred times. She sincerely hopes her writing has improved since those days.
