I've always enjoyed a good travel book and this is one of the best. You can dip into individual chapters and let Mike Gerrard take you around the world. I also enjoyed how Mike describes the various local foods...Well...Apart from the snake!

A good read that gave me - from the northeast coast of England - a good insight into small town America. I also like the way Charles Deemer often leaves the end of the stories hanging there for the readers to consider their own ending...

I enjoyed the storyline. Though I do feel the main characters neeeded a lot more depth-and the editing of the manuscript. But a good read,I enjoyed it from start to finish.
