Richard Brotherton

Biography

I was nearly 65 years of age when I wrote In Praise of Women. It was something I needed to do. It had to be about something I know, photography and history.
I have done many jobs in my life but throughout I have stayed true to my first love, photography. I was an engineer, returning to full time education to obtain a Degree in History and Sociology. Subsequently I became a social worker. My last ten years of work were blighted by redundancy. I am now retired and can concentrate on writing. I am at present working on a follow up novel.
