Dick Underwood


Biography

Dick Underwood was a Christian Minister for 17 years. He was commissioned in the UK as a Salvation Army Officer and also became an Industrial Chaplain to the Fishing Industry as a Superintendent with the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.

He subsequently became a staff counsellor for the West Yorkshire Ambulance Service, and Chief Executive of a national counselling charity.

His most recent publication, 'Salvation Army Miscellany' is based upon his experiences as a young Salvation Army Officer.

Dick has also published two collections of poems 'Still I Will Love You' and 'God! That Ark Stank'.

He has also written a 'Bereavement Help', a 'Eulogy Help', and a 'Overcome Your Fear and Beat Your Phobia' self help booklets.
