Leann Rhodes

Biography

I was born and raised in Anne Arundel County in Maryland my whole life. I have a spunky and smart daughter named Madison who was born in 2006. People say she is my mini me. I truly believe she was a gift from above as she gave my life a whole new meaning when I became a mom. I have 2 bulldogs named Pearl and Roxi and 2 cats named Cookie and Chance.

My favorite place to travel is anywhere that is warm and has a beach. I am a Leo born in 1985, so I love warm weather. The warmer, the better, in my eyes. I grew up always wanting to make something out of my life and my dream was to be a teacher since I was inspired by my 4th grade teacher, who one day I would love to find to let her know she inspired me.

I graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 2003 and then went on to pursue my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Towson University where I graduated in 2009. I became a 4th grade teacher for Anne Arundel County. I continued to teach 4th grade and later 5th grade in Anne Arundel County while perusing my Master’s Degree through McDaniel College. I taught middle school 7th grade Language Arts part-time in 2014-2015 in Anne Arundel County while completing my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in spring of 2015.

Alongside of college and my teaching career, I worked part-time in a Direct Sales company for women. This provided for the extra’s in life that my college and then teaching income did not allow for. In 2015, I decided to leave the classroom to take care of family. My Pure Romance Direct Sales business allowed me to supplement, actually surpass, my teaching income working 6-10 hours a week.
