Rita Rashad
Biography
Rita Rashad was born in Bethesda, Maryland and raised, along with two siblings in Washington, DC, subsequently moving to Maryland. She attended the University of Maryland, University College. She graduated with a degree in Business Management.
Rita spent many years with the Federal Government and the last 15 years in the private sector. Without a major publishing company, in 1994, Rita sought the help of a self-publishing company, iUniverse for her first book, Love at Half-Court. Although, happily disappointed, in 2010, Love at Half-Court was used as a prop in the movie, Just Wright.
Love at Half-Court is followed by her second novel, Love, Lies and Basketball, both part of a three part series or “love series” and finally the last book, Love Don’t Cry due out asap.
