Roger Johnston

Biography

Roger G. Johnston, Ph.D., CPP, is head of the Vulnerability Assessment Team at Argonne National Laboratory. He was the founder and head of the Vulnerability Assessment Team at Los Alamos National Laboratory from 1992 to 2007. Dr. Johnston has provided consulting, training, vulnerability assessments, research, and security solutions for dozens of private companies and government agencies. Johnston graduated from Carleton College (1977), and received M.S. & Ph.D. degrees in physics from the University of Colorado (1983). He has authored over 150 technical papers and 70 invited talks (including Keynote Addresses), and holds 10 U.S. patents. Johnston serves as the Editor of The Journal of Physical Security. He is frequently interviewed by the news media, security journals, and security bloggers for his views on security.
