R. M. Green

Biography

R. M. Green traveled and lived all over the world, from Southern Germany to southern Maryland, only to end up back where she started. She has been writing professionally since 1996 and for fun since before she was born. Or at least that’s how she remembers it.

She currently splits her time between writing, real life and taking care of two particularly stupid cats.

Smashwords Interview

What was your inspiration behind Stone Blood?
Originally I wanted to write the opposite of a fantasy book. Fantasy books tend to start firmly grounded in reality and fantastical elements start seeping in. I wanted to write a book where the main character starts out fully immersed in a fantasy and slowly comes back to real life. It evolved somewhat from that original concept, but the idea of fantasy vs. reality remains a central theme.
