Can't tell you how much I enjoyed this story. So much so that I read it to my kids as well, and as we got closer to the end they did not want me to stop.
Anyone who has even a passing interest in bigfoot or hominoids in general HAS to read this. Even someone who doesn't share this interest won't be able resist getting hooked on the story line!
Coming at this as a reader of Mr. Pye's non-fiction material (okay, some may say pretty "out-there" non-fiction), I was expecting a solid read but wasn't sure if its lack of crypto/other-worldly material would be a limiting factor. I was dead wrong!
Do you need to be a sports fan, particularly an American football one, to relate to this book? It wouldn't hurt, but is definitely not a requirement. It's a great story that will suck you in regardless of where you're coming from.
I gave a copy to my Dad to read, and he gave it 2 thumbs up as well.
I put Mr. Pye right up there with Whitley Strieber and Graham Hancock. Good company for sure.
