Biography
Ron Hurak lives in South Western Ontario Canada with his wife Kay. Ron is co-founder of a software development company that Ron and Kay started in 1977. That company is now considered to be the largest supplier of real estate commission payroll and accounting software (referred to as Profit Power) to larger enterprise size real estate organizations throughout the United States. Ron is also co-founder of Team OBS which develops and supplies cloud based technology solutions to the real estate industry. Although Ron would not consider himself as a professional writer, Ron published a book called ‘Computers in Real Estate’ which offered real estate professionals an early guide to understanding the many opportunities available when using technology. Ron has also written numerous articles on the same subject over the past 25 years that have been featured in a variety of real estate publications.
Over the past 35 years Ron has been invited to speak at many real estate events in Canada and the United States on technology, human behaviour, relationships, inter-personal communications and achieving success. Ron is also a musician and plays many genres of blues, jazz and classic pop. Ron is also an avid golfer who created the ‘Simple 4 Step Swing’ and his video of the same name has been sold throughout the world to golfers of all skill levels. Ron believes that learning about one-self and those around him is a daily activity that enriches his life and allows him to live each and every day at peace with himself and happy with his life.
