I just finished Xenofreak Nation by Melissa Conway. All I have to say is WOW! What a catching and gripping book. I started reading this book Sunday morning and I finished it Monday night. I didn’t want to put it down. The author does a great job describing everything so you feel like you are in the book and watching it unfold in front of you. This book takes you down the dark criminal underworld only to question, who really is the criminal.
  • Alone (Vampires and the Life of Erin Rose - 1) on Oct. 31, 2011

This book was entertaining; it kept me motivated to read it, but it was rather annoying. The author tried to put us in the thoughts and feelings of the main character, and tried too hard. The stream of conscience felt forced and childlike. The plot was interesting, but the characters were underdeveloped and there were too many loose ends still unanswered. I am not sure I would recommend this book.

This was a few descriptive short stories that made no sense and had no point.

I couldn't put the book down. This is a very inticing book about a love story brought up in a racist culture, and the extremes people went to to be with their love.

Great book, with interesting characters. I couldn't put it down.
