I was hooked from the moment I read the first paragraph. The characters were very easy to love or hate. Lacey is not the typical female main character, but that is what makes her fabulous. Her being a detective in the Boston PD is something that really kept my attention. And then there's Damon...OH MY!! He is a vampire straight out of women's dreams. But he has a secret and it has everything to do with whats around his neck.
