Rundy Purdy

Biography

Rundy Purdy was born in 1981 and homeschooled until graduation from highschool. An eclectic writer, he is the author of The Stuttering Bard of York, The Stuttering Duke of York, and Arielle's Wedding, along with numerous essays. He has been telling stories since before he could write, and doodling ever since he first laid hands on a pen. While creatively prolific, Rundy is perhaps best known for his moving accounts of caring for his ailing grandfather who suffered from Alzheimer's. This writing has been described as, "touching as 'Tuesdays With Morrie,' as tender as John Bayley's memoir of his wife, Iris Murdoch, and in many ways truer and more tough-minded than either."

Currently he is working on a memoir about that experience.
