Biography

Nicknamed "Ruyi", Mr. Uwuigiaren was born and grew up in Ojo, Lagos, Nigeria, Africa. As a young adult, he attended school for Mass Communications. Ruyi quickly realized his talent for the arts including singing in a soul music group, playing the key board/piano, drawing cartoons, and writing children's books. He published cartoons Mr. Bony and Dulljack with Vanguard Media Limited and children's books The Adventures of Nihu with Bouncing Ball Books,Giant in a Hut and The Little King with Learnrite publishers, Little Okon with Apex Books, and The Treasure of a Goldsmith and Empire of the Wicked with Pekan Publishers, My Guest(excerpt) with Moronicox.com. While continuing his artistic expression professionally, Ruyi currently lives in his hometown where he writes for children in his authentic African style.
