Interesting, if somewhat vague at times, even realizing that such vagueness is part of the presentation. As a sci-fi author myself, I'm used to this device, but in a short story it is highlighted, since there are so few words to elucidate. Your descriptions are vivid and clever at times, but at times their frequency interferes with the smooth flow of the overall story presentation. And, even in short form, STORY is king. Overall, it is thought-provoking, and worth the read. I would love to see a little more length and clarity for the story, becausae it seems hyst as it gets interesting, it ends; but maybe that's just me liking the longer, deeper novels.

Clever, vivid imagery. Obviously could use a longer, more involving story!
