Kris Jmaeff is a veteren Information Security Specialist and holds two Information Security Certifications : CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional by ISC2) and a GSEC Security Essentials (Global Information Assurance Certification) from the Sans Institute in Maryland, USA.
His research interests include privacy and security issues for families and he is actively involved in training and helping families stay safe in the cyber-world. He sees the importance in explaining technical topics to nontechnical readers and for offering useful real-world advice about serious topics. He is known for his casual, easy-to-read writing style and his ability to explain a wide variety of complex topics to an everyday audience.
Mr. Jmaeff also is an avid hunter and outdoorsman in the world-class forests of the Okanagan and Kootenays of British Columbia.
