- An Accidental Bond: Book 1 of The Engle
on Jan. 24, 2011
I really liked this book. The reason for only 4 stars is the fact that it is a series. I really hate not having a whole story in one book (personal quirk!)!! Other than that the story keeps moving and kept me interested up until the end that wasn't an end.

Not one of my favorites, but well written. I don't know of anyone who will 'wait a year' to ride a bike...
- The Dam

I liked this story but I had hoped the ending would be done a bit better or had a bit more of a twist. It kept me interested in it.

I liked it!
- The Painter’s Requiem

This story kept my attention and I especially liked the twist at the end. Good story!

This book is well written, kept my attention, and was a very interesting read. I do feel that the author was aching to get to the end, and the end should be expanded to give the book more richness. There is one glaring error and hopefully that can be fixed at the same time.
- The Dawning of Power trilogy
on April 04, 2011
I loved this book. I hesitate to call it a trilogy just because it was written in 3 parts - it can only be read as one book, but clearly it could be made into a real trilogy - it was that good.
There are a few issues, a lot of the characters back stories need to be fleshed out a lot better. The major 'fights' in the book should also be looked at; they were over too quickly after all the set up.
Looking past all this was a book I could not put down. I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. I couldn't say that so-and-so was going to do this or that. I loved being unsure what was going to happen next. That kept me reading.
Great book, am looking for the next one!

I was interested in spite of myself and wanted to know more - and still do. I want more history not only about Gavin's past and his history, but more about Aubrey who isn't as fleshed out as the others. I wasn't exactly sure why he is even in the book...
I want more. Great read!

This story kept me entertained. I wanted to get to the end and didn't expect it when I got there. I will read more from this author.

One star because it is well written. There is no story here and it should have ended up in the trash.
