Vonnegut's Ambivalence, part 1
Paul Gosselin and Gib McInnis discuss Kurt Vonnegut's ambivalence with Darwinism. While Vonnegut accepts Darwinism as an explanation of origins, he does not like the result when it is applied to real societies. In further discussion, it appears that despite being ardent evolutionists, both Stephen Jay Gould and Richard Dawkins shared this ambivalence. Apparently it is difficult to be a coherent evolutionist.
