Joyce Sandilands

Biography

I always loved to write and English Lit was one of my best subjects in school (so many years ago) ... especially writing essays, but who would have thought that I would become an author! In 1998, I began editing and publishing my husband, J. Robert Whittle's novels, and then I published my first of two children's books. By 2010, I had produced 10 novels for my husband (three of which I am co-author) and two children's books. We sell our books at markets, craft shows and on our website. Three of our books are Canadian bestsellers and we've won two IPPY gold medals. Our books feature real historical setting, events and characters and contain no sex, gratuitous violence or swearing. We are grateful for the many hundreds of readers who have told us that their family members of all ages have shared our books.
