Sandra Nachlinger

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Sandra Nachlinger has been writing one thing or another since childhood. She wrote her first romantic story in elementary school, in pencil on lined paper. The heroine gets a kiss as the happy ending. She still has diaries from her school days, one of which inspired her first book I.O.U. SEX, co-authored with Sandra Allen.

Besides Dallas, Sandy has lived in Irving and Beaumont, Texas; Miami, Florida; and now resides in Washington State. She loves to travel and keeps journals (written and photographic) of each trip. Most exciting and memorable place Sandy has been? She walked on a pilgrimage from León to Santiago de Compostela, Spain, with her daughter-in-law and her D-I-L’s mother – a once-in-a-lifetime experience she’ll treasure always.

When not writing, Sandy enjoys quilting, sewing, gardening, photography, lunching with friends, and travel. And like Granny in BLUEBONNETS FOR ELLY, she spends as much time as possible with her granddaughter.
