Treatment Modalities
Cognitive with an Emphasis on Behavioral and solution based work. Our sessions begin with your current anxiety and/or other symptoms of ADD/HD, OCD, or Agitated depression. Cognitive work begins in phase 2 to identify how triggers are interpreted to cause reactions. Behavioral tools are then created for individual patients after foundational work is accomplished.

Why a blog?
This new blog follows along the examples that are created by using My Anxiety Notebook. Every month several examples will be created so readers can see how others use the tools in the Notebook. My Anxiety Notebook will be available to download from the website in January 2010. This active approach to lowering anxiety has been used by author Sara Denning, Ph.D. with patients for the past few years. As a clinical psychologist in private practice the goal is to help as many people lower their anxiety as possible. Local groups will be formed to help people who want to work with others.

” I am happy to get this work out to the public so that we can feel less stressed and feel more attached to our lives. It is the ability to absorb and reflect on the ‘everydayness’ of life that bring us to the full mix.” SD
