Bloodraven

Like many have said, this book isn't for the faint-hearted. Like, seriously. I've read PL Nunn's fiction for years, but the level of brutality in this story still caught me off guard. One thing that threw me off was the speed at which the Yhalen and Bloodraven become attached to each other. Which isn't to say that it was by any means "speedy," it just happened faster that I thought it would. Just a personal preference, I guess. Also, the story ends with a semi-open ending. The possibility of a sequel is a definite plus.
