  • Observations of A Transplanted Southern Belle on Aug. 31, 2012

Transplanted Southern Belle is a comforting ride through some warm and often funny memories. A memoir told in snippets. Sometimes you’ll hear about the foibles of the folks in Home Town, North Carolina, other times the focus is on Laurie’s more modern life among Florida High Rises. I love the life lessons, sad recollections, and how each memory reminds me of a lost memory of my own. Only one regret. I wish the “pansies” story could have been an Andy Griffith Show episode.

Transplanted Southern Belle is a comforting ride through some warm and often funny memories. A memoir told in snippets, originally for a newspaper column.
