Shawn Dolgin

Biography

Shawn Dolgin is a native San Franciscan, who has explored the city from one end to the other. He leads hiking groups throughout the city and the entire bay area. On any given weekend you can find him, exploring trails, Lakes, mountains, or cities anywhere in the bay area. Hiking and exploring has been his passion as he has traveled to over 69 countries around the world, walking around all the major cities, through alleys, and back roads, eating great street food and sipping wine wherever he goes.

He is a High School teacher and tennis coach. He has a BA in Geography & BS in Business and a Social Science Teaching Credential from San Francisco State University and MS degree in Economics from the University of San Francisco. He has also earned an Advance WSET certificate in Wine and is currently an WSET Diploma student. WSET (Wine Spirits Educational Trust) is oldest Wine spirits teaching association in the world based out of London, England.
