Biography

Shirley Galbrecht loves to write, paint and sit on her porch enjoying the company of her family and friends. Whenever she is surrounded by the beauty of nature, she couldn't be happier. Add to that a water front view and she's in heaven.

Her son and the forest surrounding her home inspired her first children's book, The Animal Seeker. The story is an adventure science fiction book with an environmental theme for ages 7 to 10.

When not pursuing creative work, Shirley spends her time caring for her home, pets, and family or researching exotic travel destinations. Around home, fun is a night out visiting art galleries, unique shops and eating great ethnic food. Adventure is in her spirit and she has a constant desire to explore something new, whatever form that takes..
