Who are your favorite authors?
A few that come to mind are: JD Salinger, "Catcher in the Rye," Karl Marlantes, "Matterhorn," Joseph Heller, "Catch-22," David Halberstam, "The Coldest Winter." John Steinbeck, "The Grapes of Wrath," Ken Kesey, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." Most I have read multiple times.
What are you working on next?
My sister told her grandchild when the youngster complained about something (I don't even remember what the complaint was) and my sister's response became what is the motivation for my next book. She said, "At least your head isn't stuck to someone else's."
The novel is a humorous look at the difficulties of life and how things are not as bad as they could be. I found that everyone I have met had some complaint about something. Many about the most mundane things and her advise always seems to fit, no matter what the situation.
