very different book for me, I didn't really enjoy it, but I made myself finish it..I admire the author for writing such a different storyline

very captivating story...I loved the entire storyline..it covered a world of wizards, kings, creatures & peasants..I never knew what was going to happen next in the story...hard to put down I will definitely be waiting for series #2 I would love to have a "Magic carpet", lol thanks Stephen for allowing me such a great story

I fell in love with the story of Marina from the beginning, since I'm an avid lover of the beach, the storyline sucked me right in (kinda like the mermaid did Marina)..Ethan was a great guy, Cruz, Evie Abby & the rest of the characters were so enjoyable & funny...Derrolyn did an excellent job bringing out the characters so the reader could feel every detail ...from fortune tellers to mermaids, this book was an excellent read I purchased series 2 & 3 this week also

I like the spunkyness of Rayla, she never let the fae guys intimidate her (they actually laughed at her spirit) this book kept me guessing who was good & evil the entire storyline, was it Zach, Luke, Cassie, Jessica, Grace,the troll, etc...lol a true testimate to teenage love between Rayla & Zach & Rayla & Luke...who will she bond with ???who will she choose ??? Styx made me laugh at the end, he seemed so cuddly & warm to Rayla

I sure do hate that the series is possible over ;( This was a terrific YA series...I'm in my 40's and throughly enjoyed all 4 books A must read for anyone who likes clean reading & young love WTG Derrolyn
